Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor are still going strong! The American Horror Story actress and her girlfriend were photographed taking a stroll. The two have been dating for a little more than a year.

Although the couple have been dating for a little over a year, Sarah Paulson has only recently talked about the relationship, despite being private with her love life. As the Inquisitr reported, Paulson sat down with the New York Times for a profile piece, and spoke about the big age gap and her love for Holland for the first time. Paulson is 43 while Holland is 73.
“If my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that’s going to make me feel really straitjacketed, and I don’t want to feel that. What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor.”

She went on to say that she had met her years before, and was immediately taken aback by her exquisite beauty, but at the time she was involved in another relationship.
The big age gap wasn’t the only reason why their relationship made the headlines. It was the fact that Paulson, whose career as a leading lady was heating up, was in a same-sex relationship. This shouldn’t be a big deal, but public curiosity got the best of everyone.
Despite that, Paulson said she doesn’t want to be labeled as a lesbian.
“All I can say is, I’ve done both, and I don’t let either experience define me. I don’t let having been with a man make me think I am heterosexual, or make me want to call myself that, because I know I have been attracted to women — and have lived with women. So, for me, I’m not looking to define myself, and I’m sorry if that is something that is seen as a rejection of or an unwillingness to embrace (my sexuality) in a public way, but it’s simply not. It’s simply what’s true for me, and that’s all I can speak to.”
As for their age gap, Sarah Paulson seems to be embracing it and taking it for what it is.
“There’s a poignancy to being with someone older. I think there’s a greater appreciation of time and what you have together and what’s important, and it can make the little things seem very small. It puts a kind of sharp light mixed with a sort of diffused light on something. I can’t say it any other way than there’s a poignancy to it, and a heightened sense of time and the value of time.”
Before the couple confirmed their relationship, Taylor Holland said that she’s in a relationship with a younger woman. At the time, no one knew that was Sarah Paulson.
“It’s the most wonderful, extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life. I haven’t come out because I am out.”
As for wedding bells, Holland said,
“I would not do that publicly. My relationship is with a woman, and I have not — given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me. But she’s mentioned it because just from a spiritual point of view, from a heart point of view… as a deed that has a very rich symbolic gesture to it, it has its attraction.”
