Justin Bieber Caught Listening To Selena Gomez Song: Why She Wants To Help Him
Justin Bieber finally broke his silence on his fist fight to the sound of a Selena Gomez song. Amid all the speculation about what caused the battle, Justin waited several days before turning to social media to dish up his views, noted Teen Vogue.
In the video, Bieber’s pal Micah Cravalho gives him a clue.
“That’s why you don’t take on 6’5 guys,” points out Micah.
Bieber offered up his own short lecture on the topic of battling.
“Fighting’s not cool,” he proclaimed.
But it wasn’t even the commentary on fighting that’s getting the attention from Beliebers. Instead, speculation about the potential of a rekindled romance between Justin and Selena has blossomed again because of the musical background to that video.
“Same Old Love” is coming through loud and clear, the popular single from Gomez. And Jelena fans (Justin + Selena) immediately shared their comments on the significance of the song rather than the Biebs’ comments about the battle.
“Same old love ? Jelena ?,” gushed one fan.
“Selena…Omg,” exclaimed another.
“Jelenaaaa @selenagomez,” emphasized another enthusiast.
While Justin’s fans are vocalizing over his choice of song, Selena herself has other concerns. An insider told Hollywood Life that despite the breakup, Gomez wants to protect him.
“[Selena] hates seeing [Justin] get in trouble all the time because she honestly feels she could have helped him.”
Gomez still has the desire to rescue Bieber and “help him,” according to that source. And the Jelena connection lives on.
“It is always an uphill battle for her because he is so stubborn, but she always feels that she should be there for him because in her mind they have such a strong connection,” added the insider. “She really just wants him to be healthy and happy.”
“Selena hates seeing Justin get into fights,” noted the source. “She thinks that it is really stupid and does nothing positive for him at all. She’s just thankful that he’s okay.”
Precisely what started the battle between Bieber and his opponent is not known, according to E News.
Video showed Justin sporting a Cleveland Cavaliers outfit and the much bigger man punching each other. Bieber ended up on the floor.
Those around them attempted to separate the two without success. The battle, which occurred outside the singer’s hotel, started for unknown reasons. But to reassure his fans, Justin shared a photo with a humorous caption.
“Not a scratch on this pretty boy,” he wrote reassuringly.
Despite getting away unscathed, Bieber is causing those close to him to worry. Selena isn’t the only one of his inner circle to fear for him and want to help him, according to ET‘s sources.
In addition to the fist fight after game three of the NBA Finals, there are other signs that Justin may be struggling. He shared on Instagram that he feels “like a zoo animal,” generated controversy for his criticism of award shows, and was seen strolling barefoot in Boston.
“People around Justin are nervous about him and worry that he could have a breakdown,” revealed one source. “He feels like people forget that he is a human being and needs privacy.”
And that individual emphasized that those around Bieber are extremely concerned, describing the singer as “extremely burnt out.”
Another one of ET‘s insiders analyzed the situation as more than burnout. Without mentioning Selena’s name, that source is worried that Justin is missing the support system that close friends could provide. He lacks any consistency when it comes to those close to him.
“So many people are coming in and out of his life constantly,” pointed out that insider.
