Drake reportedly has a portrait tattoo of Rihanna on his right bicep.

Did Drake Get A Tattoo Of Rihanna? ‘Pop Style’ Rapper’s Fans Freak Over Photos Of Rumored Ink

Drake is no stranger to showing off his growing tattoo collection on Instagram, but did the rapper get a tattoo in honor of his close friend, Rihanna? While Drake has gotten portraits of family and friends inked on his body in the past, it appears that one of the “Pop Style” rapper’s mysterious tats has sparked a new debate among fans.

Drake showed off the latest addition to his ever-expanding ink collection back in October after he took to Instagram to share a photo of his new “bbk” tattoo, which stands for “Boys Better Know,” in honor of his friendship with U.K. grime rapper, Skepta, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

In addition to his “bbk” tat, Drake has shown off 12 other tattoos on social media in the past including a portrait of his family on his upper back, a portrait of Aaliyah under his left shoulder blade, the number “6” in addition to the “praying-hands emoji” on his right forearm, the signature OVO owl under his right shoulder blade, and a mini-portrait of his father’s mugshot on his right arm, just to name a few.

Despite Drake’s fondness for showing off his ink on Instagram, it appears that fans are now debating over the origin of one of Drake’s bicep tattoos after Instagram account celeb_gozzip pointed out in February that the tat closely resembles a photo of Rihanna that is reportedly hanging inside of Drake’s Toronto-based restaurant, Fring’s.

The tattoo in question appears on Drake’s inner right bicep and is rumored to be a mini-portrait of his “Work” collaborator based off of a photo shared to Rihanna’s Instagram in 2011. The same pic, albeit in black and white, is also said to be hanging inside Fring’s where fans often pose for a photo-op alongside the sultry pic.

One celebrity gossip blog, TeaTenders, touched on the ink rumors earlier this week after they took to Instagram to share a photo collage of Drake’s rumored Rihanna tat before speaking out against fans who insisted that the pic in question was photoshopped.

“For those of you who doubted us,” the blog began on Instagram yesterday, “#Drake has a tat of #Rihanna’s face on his inner right arm…AND he has the SAME PIC hanging up inside his restaurant #Fringes [sic].”

The blog site further explains that Drake has had the tattoo for over one year, as it is visible in photos from the rapper’s Coachella performance last year, although it’s unclear exactly when Drake had the ink completed. While there are currently no high-resolution photos of the ink, fans were quick to point out that Drake indirectly showed off the tat in a photo shared to his Instagram account back in October.

The news comes just days after Rihanna was spotted dining at Drake’s downtown Toronto restaurant in celebration of her best friend’s birthday on Tuesday, further fueling dating speculation for the “Work” collaborators, despite Rihanna having recently declared her single status in several interviews.

While it’s unclear if Drake made an appearance at Fring’s during Rihanna’s visit earlier this week, the rapper previously spoke out against rumors suggesting that the restaurant’s name was inspired by a nickname that he had given the “Diamonds” singer while they were dating in 2013.

When asked about the inspiration behind the restaurant’s name, Drake revealed to the New York Times Style Magazine that the term “fring” is “just something you pull from your own emotions, from a happy time. We’d say, ‘Last night you were so fringed.’ To get the real definition of Fring’s, you need to come to the restaurant. Ask a chef, ask a server, and everyone’s definition will be something different.”
