Jessica Jung To Release First Album After Girls’ Generation — Signed Copies Free To Shoppers Buying $250 Worth Of Blanc & Eclare Cosmetics

It’s been over more than a year since Sones’ hearts broke after SM Entertainment announced Jessica Jung was kicked out of Girls’ Generation. For the popular K-pop idol group who made their debut back in 2007, the remaining members — Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun — have continued as an eight-member group. Their first official track as such was “PARTY.” It would be followed up with a studio album, also their first as an eight-member group, Lion Heart. Recently, Girls’ Generation performed for Jiangsu TV’s Spring Gala Festival 2016.

Overall, Girls’ Generation was doing fine without Jessica Jung. Thankfully, Jessica has been doing fine without Girls’ Generation too. Now free from the image restrictions and confines of a K-pop girl group, Jessica was able to concentrate on her fashion line, Blanc & Eclare. She also worked on her modeling career, in which she actually posed topless for a shoot, something she most likely wouldn’t be able to do as a K-pop idol under SM Entertainment.

It should be known that Jessica Jung’s concentration on Blanc & Eclare and modeling does not mean she has abandoned music. As a matter of fact, it was made known she was working on a new solo album. Now, there is more concrete news on when that album will be officially released. However, fans are able to pick up signed copies of Jessica Jung’s album, right now, if they spend $250 worth of cosmetics at Blanc & Eclare.

For “Gorjess Spazzers” or Sones who still love Jessica Jung after her departure from Girls’ Generation, this is a dream come true. According to KpopStarz, Jessica has teased fans for over a year of her working in the studio on her latest album. One of her latest teases is the Instagram video above which she captioned, “Sweet Dreams.” It is unknown if the caption has anything to do with her album or if it was her well-wishes to her fans for the night. Nevertheless, we do know that Jessica Jung’s album will be out sometime in March.

Fans anticipating Jessica Jung’s return to music won’t have to wait long given that we are a little more than a week away from March. Yet fans do have an opportunity to get Jessica’s album not just early, but signed. According to the “Limited Edition” page at the official website of Blanc & Eclare, the fashion line opened up its first DFS pop-up at Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN). It started on Friday, February 19, 2016, and will run until the last day of March. Thanks to a partnership with Lotte, the full Serein cosmetics line is available to purchase in the ICN Concourse of the airport. Anyone who purchases $250 or more worth of cosmetics will receive a signed copy of Jessica Jung’s first solo album. All they have to do is email a copy of their receipt to info@blancgroup.com to receive it.

Unfortunately, the ICN Concourse is only available to passengers departing from Korea. Jessica Jung and Blanc & Eclare recognized this situation and extended the opportunity to online customers too. However, they would need to spend $350 or more worth of cosmetics. If they do, they can request the signed album to be mailed along with their order by writing, “Please send me a signed copy of the CD” in the notes section during checkout.

Jessica Jung’s signed solo album promotion is valid while supplies last. Afterwards, Jessica’s album will most likely be available for purchase through the usual musical outlets, either they be in-store or digitally online.
