Justin Bieber Heading To Super Bowl 50 — Is He Performing?

Justin Bieber is undoubtedly in very high demand right now, but it turns out he has some pretty surprising supporters when it comes to the possibility of him taking on the Super Bowl halftime show.

It turns out that Bieber actually has the backing of NFL players in high places, as Twitter user Andrew Astleford teased that a few Tampa Bay Buccaneers team members would actually like to see Justin Bieber perform the Super Bowl halftime show (sorry, Beyoncé!).

“Not naming names, but a few Bucs players wanted to see @justinbieber as the Super Bowl halftime show act,” Astelford tweeted out earlier this week, though he didn’t reveal exactly who was in Bieber’s corner when it comes to taking over the Super Bowl.

Following the NFL admission, Justin also drummed up some Super Bowl support from his millions of fans on Twitter, who took to the social media site to back the possibility of Bieber possibly becoming a Super Bowl performer in the not too distant future.

“Why cant @justinbieber be the half time show for the SuperBowl?? [sic],” @KennedyPenland tweeted out, while @LAmachen tweeted, “If @justinbieber performed at the Super Bowl my soul would just leave my body.”

But while we know that Bieber won’t be taking to the Super Bowl halftime stage this year (that we know of!), that doesn’t mean he won’t be staying away from the big game on February 7… he just won’t be cheering on the Carolina Panthers or the Denver Broncos.

According to a new report by Hollywood Life, Bieber will actually be heading to San Francisco for the game, but he’ll actually be using the big Super Bowl celebration to look for love following his split from his supposed girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin.

“Justin is looking to pop into the Maxim party and some other spots for the Super Bowl because they provide many options for ladies,” a source allegedly told Holywood Life of Justin’s plans to look for love at the 2016 Super Bowl. “He’s cleaned up at the host city in years past so he is looking forward to keeping the tradition alive.”

Bieber was most recently linked to model Hailey Baldwin, but while the couple never officially confirmed the relationship, Baldwin took to Twitter earlier this month to post a cryptic tweet that appeared to suggest the two have already gone their separate ways.

“Stop chasing things that make you lose yourself,” Baldwin wrote on the 140-character site on February 2, which had many fans speculating that her cryptic message was in fact confirming her split with Justin Bieber.

Bieber’s alleged Super Bowl plans also come just days after Justin’s on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez squashed rumors that there’s a chance the former love birds, who dated intermittently for four years between 2010 and 2014, would ever rekindle their romance in a candid new interview with W Magazine.

Telling the March issue of the magazine that she is now “so done” and “so exhausted” with Justin Bieber and their well-documented past relationship drama, Gomez didn’t hold back when discussing the heartache that surrounded the former couple’s past romance.

“At first I didn’t care,” Selena Gomez told W magazine of the intense media attention her and Justin felt when they first began their highly publicized relationship six years ago. “To me it was: I’m 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that,” Gomez said of Bieber, “Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things.”

“I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall,” Selena added to the site, confessing that at one time she “didn’t know where to go” to get away from the paparazzi and extreme media attention that came with dating Justin Bieber.

“I honestly am so done,” Selena Gomez concluded of her past relationship with Justin, “I care about [Justin’s] health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.”

But while Bieber’s past ladies don’t appear to be looking for excuses to get back together with the star, it turns out that there are more than a few fans who would like to see Justin head to the Super Bowl for professional reasons.
