2015 Emmy Nominees: ‘Game of Thrones’ And ‘Mad Men’ Lead The Chase

The Television Academy announced the nominees for the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards Thursday morning. Some of the shows with nominees are familiar (Mad Men, Game of Thrones, House of Cards) and there was also some new blood (Transparent).

Different than in past years, the Emmy nominees were announced at a reasonable 8:30 a.m. PT, instead of the usual 5:30 a.m.. Uzo Aduba of Orange is the New Black and Cat Deeley, the host of So You Think You Can Dance, were on hand to announce this year’s Emmy nominees.

The 67th annual Emmy awards will take place on September 20.
