Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford of the hit folk bank “Mumford Sons” will be getting married this weekend according to a source close to the couple.
Mulligan, 26, and Mumford were engaged last August after five months of dating and now reports say they will wed at an English countryside in the “next few days.”
Speaking to RadarOnline.com a source close to Mulligan says:
“Carey and Marcus are counting down the days till they tie the knot! She is absolutely walking on air and can hardly contain her excitement. It’s going to be an amazing weekend as they will be surrounded by their closest family and friends. It’s a dream come true for Carey.”
Carey Mulligan first hooked up with Marcus when he was performing a show in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple met just a few short months after Mulligan split with boyfriend Shia LaBeouf. That hookup reportedly happened when Mulligan went to see Marcus play a private, secret show in the basement of his friends house.
According to the snoop:
“She sat in the front row and while he was singing Marcus looked down at Carey and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry.”
Friends of the couple say they hit if off the first time they went out which was a date that included various friends. According to those in attendance they acted like they were dating the first time they were together.
Here’s a video report from the couple’s engagement:
Are they rushing things? Perhaps, but when you act like a couple without even trying on a first date with friends maybe that’s an OK outcome.
Congrats to the happy couple on their upcoming nuptials.
