Theo Rossi: ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Star Welcomes Baby Boy
Theo Rossi and Meghan McDermott have announced their birth of their first child. The Sons of Anarchy star confirmed Kane Alexander Rossi was born on Monday, June 8 — weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces.
In an interview with Us Magazine, Rossi said his son was due to be born on his birthday, which was June 4. Although the baby was four days late, the 40-year-old actor said his wife and first child are “doing great.”
Theo said he and his wife are simply thrilled to be parents.
“No one could have prepared us for the overwhelming joy we would feel when meeting our son. What a beautiful day to welcome our little king into the world… it’s perfect… We’re just really excited.”
A native of Staten Island, New York, Theo Rossi attended State University of New York, Albany, and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute — where he studied acting.
As reported by TheoRossi.net, the young actor appeared in several New York stage productions. However, he eventually moved to Los Angeles to further his career.
Between 1999 and 2001, Rossi appeared in commercials for Bud Light, McDonald’s, and Nissan. As he has a clear talent, he soon caught the attention of television producers.
Over the next six years, Rossi made guest appearances in several popular television series’, including Malcolm in the Middle, NYPD Blue, American Dreams, Lost, and Veronica Mars.
The versatile actor also appeared in several TV movies, including Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie and The Challenge.
In 2008, Theo Rossi got his big break with the FX Networks hit series, Sons of Anarchy. In his role as Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz, Rossi wowed fans with his reserved strength and loyalty to his brothers in the motorcycle club.
As reported by IMDB, Theo appeared in 89 episodes of Sons of Anarchy between 2008 and the series finale in 2014.
In addition to acting, Rossi supports numerous charitable organizations, including the Boot Campaign, Staten Strong, and the Human Society.

Daily Mail reports Theo Rossi and Meghan McDermott will raise their son in Staten Island. In an earlier interview, the actor said he wants his child to grow up in his hometown.
“I’m just excited for this baby to grow up in New York City because it’s the greatest place in the world, and it made me who I am, and I just think that it’s going to be very interesting because it’s a very different time from when I grew up.”
Theo Rossi said his wife and son are doing very well and they are looking forward to the challenges and joys of parenthood.
