Sikh Boy Records Shocking Video Of Him Being Bullied By Racist Schoolmates [Exclusive Details]

A shocking video of what seems to be a bunch of school kids abusing a Sikh boy has been posted to YouTube and is going viral. The video, which was uploaded by a user named Nagra Nagra, claims that the Sikh boy being bullied is named Harsukh Singh. After the Inquisitr investigated, we found that the video which was originally uploaded by the Sikh boy has been now made private. The video that is now going viral has been downloaded and re-uploaded by another user.

The video which has been re-uploaded by the user has a description which reads as follows.

“A disgusting video has emerged online of a young Sikh boy being bullied with racist chants on a school bus. One of the racists can be heard chanting ‘terrorist … terrorist’ whilst pointing at the boy. The Sikh bravely states that he doesn’t care what they think of him.”

The uploader claims that Harsukh Singh had initially uploaded the video with the following description.

“Kids being racist to me and calling me an Afghan terrorist. Please don’t act like this towards people like me. If you don’t know, I’m not Muslim I’m Sikh.”

The video was eventually picked up by a reddit user and was posted on to its videos page following which it gained immediate popularity. At the time of writing this article, the video had over 130,000 views. The reddit thread has seen over 2,000 comments, with almost all of them lambasting the racist students on-board the bus.

The Inquisitr found that Harsukh Singh happens to be a student at the Chattahoochee Elementary School in Duluth, Georgia. It is likely that the students seen in the bus too are students of the same school. At this stage, it is unclear as to why the Sikh boy chose to make the video private. In the video, the Sikh boy remains very calm and composed, even as his schoolmates continue taunting him. At one point though, he does abuse them back. In the video, one of the kids is also heard threatening Harsukh when he figures that their act is being recorded. A girl on the bus is seen yelling “terrorist! terrorist!” at the boy.

Whatever the case, this shocking video shows the kind of ignorance people have about eastern religions. Sikhs across Northern America and Europe have been the victims of hate crimes ever since the 2001 terrorist attacks on U.S. Several U.S. citizens are guilty of mistaking Sikhs for Muslims due to the turban that they wear.

At this stage, it is unclear if there would be any action taken against the students who were being utterly racist to the Sikh boy. More than strict action, it seems the kids aboard the bus could do with a little more education and knowledge.
