Resistance 3 ‘Full Circle’ developer diary released

Insomniac Games posted up a new developer for Resistance 3 over on the PlayStation Blog today, and it’s all about Resistance 3‘s vast array of exotic weapons and bringing back gameplay mechanics from the original Resistance.

Drew Murray and Marcus Smith from Insomniac go over the challenges of coming up with exotic weapons that are practical, as well as where the studio draws inspiration from. They also touch on the weapon wheel, one of the classic gameplay mechanics they’re bringing back for Resistance 3.

Resistance 3 launches on the PlayStation 3 September 6 in North America, September 9 in Europe. Check out the developer diary below.
