Mario Lopez To Release Children’s Book In September

Mario Lopez is celebrating becoming a new father by releasing his children’s book this September.

The book will be released by Celebra Children’s Books (a division of Penguin Books) and is titled “Mario and Baby Gia.” According to the actors people the book will release on September 27 and was named after the actors daughter Gia Francesca.

Gia is the first child for Lopez and Courtney Mazza who met while performing together on Broadway’s A Chorus Line.

Lopez is best known for his role as A.C. Slater on the hit 90′s show Saved By The Bell. He’s also not new to the publishing world, having previously written “Knockout Fitness,” ‘’Extra Lean” and “Extra Lean Life.” While he’s covered the world of fitness quite a few times this is the actors first attempt at a children’s book.
