GPS Sends Lady Into Lake And She Does As She’s Told

Some people are far too trusting of their tech gadgets and that fact was proven this week when a lady allowed her GPS to drive her into a lake.

The driver of a vehicle in Bellevue, Washington drove her car off a boat ramp and into the water at Mercer Slough Natural Park when her GPS told her that was the way to drive.

According to KATU.com one female immediately jumped for safety while the other two female passengers stood on the cars door frames before wading to shore.

In all fairness to the drive it was nearly midnight when they were looking for their hotel and they told a local fireman that “They were trying to re-route their path and found this boat launch” and “[They] just kept driving into the water.”

The car was completely submerged in the morning when a tow truck arrived to pull it out of the lake.

Fireman on the scene say alcohol and drugs did not appear to be involved which only leaves stupidity and bad driving.
