Kim Kardashian Lures Fans To New Mobio INsider Platform With Hair Color Conundrum

Kim Kardashian, just three days after revealing to the Kim Kardashian-obsessed world that she had ditched the blonde dye-job she’d sported since September in favor of a brunette color with a few lighter highlights, is proving to be fickle when it comes to her hair hues.

But her supposed confusion over whether to keep or kill her new darker hair appears to be a ploy to lure fans onto a new social media site that plays celebrities, and others, to use it.

The 33-year-old reality TV and social media icon declared herself “so annoyed” that she 86’ed the blonde look, and is now asking fans to help her decide whether to keep the darker shade or go back to the sunnier look. Not an option, apparently, is the original jet black look that is closer to Kim Kardashian’s natural jet-black hair color.

The more cynical Kardashian watchers might wonder if the future Mrs. Kanye West is trumping up her confusion over hair color to draw fans to her newest social media platform, Mobio INsider.

Though calling attention to her alleged hair-color conundrum on Twitter…

…she posted a longer version of the rant on Mobio INsider, where she said, in more than 140 characters, “I’m so annoyed I dyed my hair dark! I wanted to switch it up since I feel everyone went light, and we started filming a new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashian, so wanted a fresh look. BUT now I am missing my light hair! HELP!!! What do I do? Go light again or stay dark and get used to it?”

While Kim Kardashian reportedly has been paid as much as $10,000 for a single tweet endorsing a product, Mobio INsider pays celebrities simply for using and bringing their followers to the platform.

The new platform makes its money through advertising. In fact, Kim Kardashian recently asked her fans to pose a series of question to her via Twitter. For the answers, she directed fans to her Mobio Insider account.

To get the answers to at least some of the questions, fans are required to sit through an advertisement before the Kim Kardashian response is revealed.

The new platform went live only two months ago but has already leaped to a global ranking of the 11,277th most-trafficked site on the internet, according to the traffic-monitoring site Alexa. Just before Christmas, its ranking was lower than 300,000.

Here’s an example of a question asked by a fan of Kim Kardashian:

Clicking on the link sends fans to Mobio INsider, where Kim Kardashian answers, “strawberry milkshake from fat burger. OMG its so good.”
