Kingston Wi-Drive, SSD Storage Without Wires

Kingston has revealed their newest solid state drive offering, the Wi-Drive. As the name suggests the external storage unit uses 802.11 Wi-Fi certification to send users files to and from the drive, eliminating the need for wires.

The drive is also able to simultaneously stream files to four Apple iPad devices at the same time, while operating with a 4-hour continuous use battery life that is rechargeable.

Currently Kingston has two SSD Wi-Drive setups available for sale, the 16GB for $130 and a 32GB version for $175, decent pricing when you consider you’re receiving Solid State Drive technology with wireless capabilities.

Will you be hurrying out to get your hands on a Kingston Wi-Drive?
