Amazon Cloud Player Delivers Update, Streams to iOS via Safari Browser

Developers at Amazon on Saturday rolled out an update to the Amazon Cloud Player which brings support for Apple iOS devices.

The program runs in the Safari browser window, streaming songs to iOS based devices. Users should be made aware that a warning page will first pop up, explaining that the browser is unsupported, however my own first run tests have been flawless after ignoring that message and other tech sites have also tested the program successfully without fault during early trial stages.

Apple is expected to launch their own cloud based service with full label backing in the near future that will be backed into the iOS platform, while Amazon has went in with no label backing and legal battles on their hands, a move that sure takes a lot of courage on Amazon’s side.
