Billy Graham: Death Fears After Hospital Stay Leads To Prayer Requests

Billy Graham’s death is feared after his health took a turn for the worst recently, although he’s said to be in a stable yet weak condition at this time.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Billy Graham gave his final sermon in a TV special broadcast to the world.

Graham claimed American society was “adrift morally and spiritually.” He explained that the answers to life’s toughest questions “can only be found in the Gospel” and during the sermon he encouraged Christians to repent and prepare for the resurrection. In addition to the sermon, the presentation included music and personal testimonies from rapper LaCrae Moore and singer Lacey Sturm.

After celebrating his 95th birthday, the famous pastor behind the Billy Graham crusades was hospitalized. He was taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina with severe chest congestion. Graham was hospitalized for two days for observation and lung tests.

But in the past he’s suffered from prostate cancer, macular degeneration and hearing loss. All of these health emergencies have taken a toll on his body and he’s now using a wheelchair to get around.

Today, Billy Graham’s son, Franklin, who heads up the Samaraitan’s Purse organization, posted an online note explaining his father’s current condition:

“Since that [birthday] night a few short weeks ago, he has had another bout with a respiratory infection and was hospitalized briefly before returning home to recuperate. He is extremely weak but his vitals are good. Our family would appreciate your prayers for him that the Lord would strengthen him.”

We’re hoping to not see Billy Graham dead any time soon but it sounds like he’ll be spending most of his time at home resting now based upon reports.
