iPad Type Tablet Was Predicted In 1994 With Proof Of Concept [Video]

In 1994 a news piece ran in which a tablet device, eerily similar to the Apple iPad, was shown off with capabilities that hit right on the mark for today’s technology.

Discovered on the Bronwen Clune blog it should be pointed out that the news organization that originally reported on the product the Knight-Ridder group was bought out in McClatchy Company in 2006.

It’s not too often that a futurist creates a piece that hits the head right on the nail, typically we see predictions these days for “6 months into the future” which isn’t all that much of a prediction, but this video shows a true futurist’s view of how we would eventually communication 16-17 years later.
