Asus Eee Pad Slider To Feature Atom Z670 Processor, Not Tegra 2

Strong evidence surfaced on Sunday that the Asus Eee Pad Slider, originally rumored to carry a Tegra 2 processor will instead switch gears over the the Intel based Atom Z670 processor.

The switch from the NVIDIA processor to an Intel option is evidenced in the Intel press page shown above and comes just after Intel announced the Atom Z670.

The press page has been removed, however not before Liliputing was able to grab a screenshot.

While the press page may have just been a huge mistake, more than likely Asus asked that it be removed.
