Footage has emerged online purporting to show a Texas woman giving birth to a 10-pound baby in the passenger seat of a car while her partner drives to a birthing center in the Houston area.

Incredibly, the woman’s partner was able to record the entire shocking birth incident.

The video, which the Blaze reports has been verified independently, shows a woman going into labor while her male partner drives on Beltway 8 to a Bay Area Birthing Center, according to KTRK-TV Houston.

The couple had been driving for several minutes when the woman began crying after her water broke.

“Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my word! Oh my Gosh! It hurts so bad.”

Within minutes the miracle of birth happens and a 10-pound baby emerges from the woman’s body.

Her partner can be heard saying, “Spank him. He’s breathing, if he’s crying, he’s breathing, but hold him upside down, babe. Hold him upside down and pat him on the booty…”

The brave woman cries, “Oh my gosh!”

The man says, “We did it! High five.”

The woman gives the man a high-five, saying, “He came out right in the car! Oh my God. You’re beautiful! He’s a boy, baby, he’s a boy. Oh, my goodness! What do I do?”

The man could only respond, “So I wonder if we still have to pay for using birth center?”

But he explained later on YouTube that he meant that last comment only as a joke.

“By the way, the comment about wondering if we still had to pay for the birth center was just a joke. They still gave us lots of medical care, we still used their facilities including for delivering the placenta. The name of the birth center is Bay Area Birth Center in Pasadena, and we highly recommend them. We have 2 girls, 1 and 2 years old, and they were both born there.”

Many viewers have remarked about the man’s calmness during the critical moments.

“Dude, your extreme calm is unreal. My husband would be freaking the f*** out.”

“Dad good job for being calm. I would be nervous like she is.”

The video, posted to YouTube on Thursday by YouTube user i8thacookies — the woman’s partner — is going viral online, having been viewed more than 75,000 times.

The baby was the couple’s third child. They already had two toddler girls, aged two and one.
