Toyota’s New Scion FR-S Is A Beautiful Sight

Toyota’s new Scion FR-S has a much different feel (and look) from the company’s previous models, and is definitely a sight to behold.

The car is definitely more sporty than the xB or even the tC, which offers a more-sports car-like look. CNN reports that, not only does the car look good, but it offers genuinely remarkable performance.

The Denver Channel notes that the FR-S “harkens back to old-school sports cars with ample — but not absurd — power output, glove-tight steering and a ride that’s very firm but still not too punishing considering all the fun you’re having.”

Of course, like any true sports car, the driver will be thrilled, but any passengers may not be. Besides the fact that the car has a firm ride, the back seats of Toyota’s new Scion model are pretty snug, meaning that they will probably rarely be used, unless the driver’s in a pinch, according to CNN. But considering that some cars in this class have no backseat at all, it could give the car a small advantage (literally).

Automotive Discovery reports that:

“Subaru and Toyota are especially pleased with the sales rates. The Toyota Scion FR-S is moving almost as quickly as the Subaru BRZ. These sales rates are four times higher than what the Japanese automakers were originally projecting, especially in the Japanese sales demographic.”

According to Auto Evolution , that the sales rate for the new Scion FR-S is one every five days, and it helps that there were a ton of pre-orders for the new Toyota project.
