The latest addition to the list of guests hosted by President Donald Trump at the Oval Office is Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The two leaders met and briefly posed for a photo-op session for the press stationed outside the White House.
During Mohammed bin Salman’s White House visit, Trump was seen showing the Saudi Crown Prince the newly installed Presidential Walk of Fame. During the tour, the two leaders stopped for a while to look at Joe Biden’s controversial autopen, which bombarded the Internet with memes.

At the Presidential Walk of Fame at the White House, Trump got the portrait of former President Joe Biden replaced with an autopen signing the Democrat’s name. The Biden snub was dubbed as Trump’s attempt to delegitimize a predecessor. Besides Biden, the Presidential Walk of Fame at the Oval Office has portraits of each of the previous leaders.
The clip of Trump with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has divided the Internet, and some netizens bombarded social media platform X with memes about the autopen. “Imagine explaining the autopen era to a foreign leader… yeah, I’d be shocked too,” a comment on the clip read. “Incredible…and now he’s gonna show him the Autopen,” read another.
This is what another X user wrote, “Every visit with Donald Trump has to have these kinds of moments.” Some dubbed the moment as “embarrassing” and wrote, “What’s actually embarrassing is that this was allowed to happen.”
The leaders’ pausing and looking at the autopen didn’t go unnoticed by the Internet. “They spent the most time looking at the portrait of President Autopen,” a user pointed out. Another wrote, “I can’t help but think about Autopen’s portrait.”
The post was flooded with comments like “I wonder what he thought about the autopen photo” and “Even MBS is blinded by the gaudiness.” Another netizen wrote jokingly, “This is who beat me last election, this auto pen.”
Some even flagged the move as petty and wrote, “Trump showing the autopen isn’t savage, it demonstrates his inability to be taken seriously; he needs to focus on making sure these deals become a reality. Where are the groundbreaking ceremonies for these factories, etc. being built, where are the employment ads for these jobs?”

Echoing similar thoughts as above, another one wrote, “It’s not trolling; it’s sheer ignorance and lack of respect for the office of President and lack of respect for the United States. I don’t know why you find this amusing.”
This moment had the Internet chuckling. “I laughed so much at the way the Crown Prince looked back at the autopen portrait the 2nd time as if to say is this President just insane? ” Another X user commented. “I want to know the crown prince’s facial expression when he saw the autopen,” a curious user wrote.
Meanwhile, during his bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Trump touched upon Saudi Arabia’s $1T investment in the US and said, “When you invest a trillion dollars, that’s national security for us, too, because it creates jobs. It creates a lot of things… That’s a real ally that will do that. It creates a lot of power for the United States.”
