Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have been facing rumors of a possible divorce for months, and while the Teen Mom 2 couple continues to be seen without their wedding rings, they have been staying mum on their potential split.
As Teen Mom 2 fans watch as Kailyn Lowry copes with Marroquin’s absence following his deployment a couple of episodes ago, rumors continue to swirl regarding her alleged plans for divorce. On May 2, Kailyn Lowry retweeted one of those rumors.

In the report above, a note written by Kailyn Lowry’s oldest son, 6-year-old Isaac (his father is Kailyn Lowry’s ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera), to Marroquin read, “I [love] you and I [miss] you dad from Isaac.”
Also in the report above, it was noted by OK! Magazine that Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin have been adding fuel to divorce rumors by not wearing their wedding rings and continuing to post cystic messages online.
In March, Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin unfollowed one another after a photo sent to another woman by Javi Marroquin was deemed to be “borderline inappropriate” by Lowry in a since-deleted tweet. At the time of the couple’s online dispute, Radar Online shared details of their feud, revealing Kailyn Lowry wasn’t happy to learn that her husband had sent a “Calvin Klein” photo to his female friend.
Around the same time, Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin both removed their wedding bands, and they don’t appear to have been seen with them back on in the weeks since. In fact, when Kailyn Lowry attended the MTV Movie Awards in early April, there was no sign of her ring, and at her side during the event was her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera.

During the event, Kailyn Lowry claimed things between her and Marroquin were good despite the many reports stating otherwise. Weeks later, a source came forward claiming that Kailyn Lowry and Rivera had spent time together in her hotel room after the event.
“Jo even stayed in her hotel room until 3 a.m., talking. She’s jealous of his fiancée, Vee [Torres], and will always have a special place in her heart for him,” an insider told In Touch Weekly weeks ago. “Kailyn has been telling friends that she and Jo could still get back together.”
After three years of dating, Kailyn Lowry’s ex-boyfriend, Rivera, proposed to Torres, the mother of his second child. However, at this point, no wedding date has been revealed.
Meanwhile, as rumors claim Kailyn Lowry still has feelings for Rivera, the source revealed she also suspects Marroquin of being unfaithful to her.
“They were already having trouble, now [Kailyn Lowry] believes Javi cheated with a woman he’s been hanging out with,” the source explained. “It’s definitely over. It’s sad, but it looks like they could wind up in a nasty custody battle [over son Lincoln, 2].”
Kailyn Lowry’s husband, Marroquin, was deployed to Qatar in January of this year. In the months since he’s been stationed overseas, he’s shared photos of himself with a number of other women.
Kailyn Lowry and her husband will be reunited this fall when he arrives back home to the reality star and her children, including his son Lincoln.
