Ronda Rousey retiring? The 29-year-old MMA fighter has a UFC 207 fight coming up against Amanda Nunes for the women’s bantamweight title, and she is already saying it could well be her last fight , according to CBS News.

Ronda Rousey was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, and she confirmed the rumors that there was the likelihood that she could walk away from the sport sooner rather than later

“I am wrapping it up. This is definitely one of my last fights. So everyone better watch. The show isn’t going to be around forever.”

Ronda Rousey’s next fight date is billed for December 30, and the UFC superstar has admitted that the mental buildup to the fight, and not necessarily the physicality of the sport, is getting to her.

“I think it’s more the buildup that’s tiring more than anything. If we had a fight right now, I’d fight and then go get dinner…it’s the weeks and weeks of buildup where you know you’re fighting this one person and it’s like this showdown and the most important thing in your life and there are millions of people watching.”

UFC 207 will be held at the Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and will air on pay-per-view. Ronda Rousey’s record is 12 MMA wins and one loss, and 6 UFC wins and 1 loss. Amanda Nunes has a fairly impressive record of 13 MMA wins and 4 losses, and 6 UFC wins and 1 loss.

The main event bout will be the first time Rousey will fight in the Octagon after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands and feet of Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November of 2015.

Ronda Rousey’s next fight date is coming more than a year after she was last in the ring, and her fans are afraid that the former champion might not last the distance. The 29-year-old, who defended her title for three years, assured her supporters that she had been training for months and was looking to go out a winner.

“I’ve been training twice a day since the beginning of August. I finally feel like I’m in a super ninja-good mode.”

The new owners of the UFC, who purchased the franchise for $4 billion, might be looking to keep the world’s most famous female MMA fighter in the ring by offering her tons of money, but Rousey might actually make more money outside of the Octagon.

Ronda Rousey’s net worth has surpassed the $12 million mark. She has picked up endorsements with Monster Headphones, Reebok, Metro PCS, and Carl. Jr. She has also starred in several movies, including The Expendables 3, Fast and Furious 7, and HBO’s Entourage. She also recently signed a three movie deal with a cable network.

Ronda Rousey’s nude picture for Sports Illustrated magazine, where she posed wearing nothing but a painted-on bathing suit suggests that she might also have a future as a cover girl. According to the Daily Mail , Ronda slipped into the dark depths of depression when she lost her crown to Holm. Ronda, the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in Judo at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, revealed she succumbed to depression after her brutal loss.

“I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself and that exact second I’m like, “I’m nothing, what do I do anymore and no one gives a s*** about me anymore without this.”

In between tears, she revealed in a previous appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February that her MMA fighter boyfriend, Travis Browne, helped her through it and gave her the strength required to soldier on.

“To be honest I looked up and I saw my man Travis was standing up there and I looked up at him and I was like, I need to have his babies, I need to stay alive.”

Ronda Rousey retiring is not something that UFC fans want to see anytime soon.
