Actor Patrick Dempsey paid tribute to his former co-star Amanda Peterson with a heartwarming message.
The former Grey’s Anatomy star pulled at the heartstrings of his biggest fans and critics with a simple yet profound tweet on Tuesday to honor the memory of the recently deceased actress.

Patrick Dempsey starred alongside Amanda Peterson in the 1987 cult classic film, Can’t Buy Me Love .
According to Daily Mail , the 49-year-old actor was photographed Tuesday with a “despondent figure” and somber facial expression.
“Standing with shoulders slumped and his hands shoved in his jeans pockets, the actor wore his black jacket zipped up and his white baseball cap pulled down to mask his sorrowful gaze. A friend even offered him a handshake in consolation, and he reciprocated with a firm embrace.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , 43-year-old Amanda Peterson was found dead inside of her home in Greeley, Colorado after her family had not heard from her for days.
Amanda’s father opened up to TMZ about his daughter’s health condition – including her struggles with sleep apnea and sinusitis in recent years.

Quite a few actors and actresses tweeted about Amanda Peterson shortly after the news of her death was first reported.
For instance, Tony-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris tweeted about the “advice, tips [and] friendship” that Amanda gave him when he first came to Los Angeles at the start of his acting career.
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar confessed that she wanted to be Amanda Peterson when she was a young child. She apparently even asked her mother for Amanda’s iconic white leather fringe jacket from her Can’t Buy Me Love wardrobe.
