It’s time for new romances for a couple of the women in Mistresses Season 3. Joss and Harry have finally made it to the bedroom, and Karen is about to find herself in the middle of a complicated relationship.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the beginning of Mistresses Season 3 saw Savi’s exit explained as she left after she found out about Joss and Harry. However, those two didn’t immediately jump into being a new couple, not even after Joss ended her engagement. Instead, they took a step back, but at the end of the latest episode, she showed up at his door and they were well on their way to having sex after their hook-up on the beach was (rudely) interrupted.
According to TVLine , Joss is going to call her and Harry’s first time having sex as “the most connected, passionate sex I ever had” in this week’s Mistresses episode, which bodes well for their future, at least physically.
However, in less happy news, the bartender Niko (Emmanuelle Vaugier) is going “to pull” some type of “sabotage” at the bar, and it’s hard not to wonder if that could mean problems for Harry professionally.
Meanwhile, in the last Mistresses episode, Karen donated her marrow for Alec’s wife, and he ended up staying with her as she recovered, and despite her insistence that it was nothing, it was obviously something. However, as you can see in the promo for this week, there’s a lot more going on there than you might think. Vivian kisses Karen, and then when she kisses her husband and Karen goes to leave, Vivian stops her and tells her not to go.
TVGuide has revealed that this Mistresses episode is only going to “tease” the threesome , while it’s the following one that shows “the real fun in the bedroom,” and Karen is going to be “testing the waters for a polyamorous relationship,” something that carries on throughout the season, according to Yunjin Kim.
“Throughout the season, it’s really about the love between the two women [and] she’s very confused by it. She’s someone who’s never had an experience with a woman, and not just a woman but also [her husband]. So it’s going to get messy and clunky…and it doesn’t settle until the very last episode.”
You will see April and Joss’ reactions to Karen’s new relationship, and while Joss is going to be “too busy with her world,” April is “stunned and not comfortable” with it.
This could be interesting for the women’s friendship, especially given Karen’s earlier concerns since Savi left. It could make things awkward, especially given how much time these women spend talking about their relationships. Karen hasn’t had the best luck with relationships, but could this one change that for her?
