Is Miley Cyrus having a meltdown, both professionally and personally? From dealing with the public announcement by her off-again on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth that he is not engaged to her to a feud with Adam Levine that’s causing sour notes on The Voice , Miley has gone from the best of times (re-engaged to her true love and a new role as key adviser on The Voice ) to the worst of times (humiliated by that same boyfriend and bickering with one of the coaches).
When it comes to the engagement brouhaha, Cyrus exploded when Liam told the world that they are not engaged, according to In Touch .
Hemsworth’s statement was a dramatic contrast to what had seemed like the smooth rekindling of their romance. They even appeared together in public for the first time since the rumors that they were engaged again. What went wrong so suddenly?
“Just as Miley and Liam were starting to plan their wedding, he had a change of heart,” a source told In Touch .
Cyrus had become increasingly insecure, stressing that Hemsworth would abandon her at the altar. As for how Liam feels, making a commitment to stay with her for the rest of his life isn’t on his wish list right now.
“He still wants to be with Miley, but isn’t sure about a lifelong commitment,” added the source.
All of these negatives, including the confirmation from Hemsworth recently that he is “not engaged,” contradict the sight of Cyrus flaunting the same 3.5-carat engagement ring that Liam gave her in 2012. That ring had resulted in the rumors that they were indeed engaged again — until Hemsworth flatly denied it.
And that public denial from Liam made Miley melt down, according to the source.
“She went ballistic, she accused him of humiliating her.”
Despite all those problems, Cyrus is still flaunting the engagement ring.
“She still desperately wants to marry Liam,” added the insider.
And there’s something else troubling Hemsworth when it comes to the notion of marrying Miley: Poop. Cyrus reportedly has problems keeping her California home tidy, according to Life & Style ‘s insider.
“There’s dog poop and pee everywhere, old food, pizza boxes, takeout containers, fast-food wrappers and dirty dishes piled up,” claims the insider.
In addition, Miley’s mansion has a distinctive odor, and it isn’t very pretty. The insider alleges that because Cyrus continues to smoke weed, the smell combines with the ancient food odors and dog poop to “smell horrible.”
Consequently, Liam reportedly ordered Miley to clean up her home.
While Cyrus deals with the fallout from Hemsworth’s comment about their engagement, she’s also coping with her new role as key adviser on The Voice , and it’s not going smoothly, according to Us Weekly ‘s source.

Adam Levine and Miley just can’t seem to get along, and Cyrus “totally butted heads” with Adam in her role as key adviser, explained the source.
Because they both suffer from short attention spans, they get frustrated easily, and while Levine gets seriously upset, Miley is having a good time pestering him, added the source.
“They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”
In addition, the bickering between the two just may offer a preview of next season, when Cyrus and Alicia Keys will replace Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera as coaches.
With filming already beginning for next season of The Voice , the feud between Adam and Miley has become even more fiery, according to Radar Online‘s insider.
“Adam and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” revealed the insider. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”
Consequently, executives reportedly are wondering if they made the right decision in choosing Cyrus as a coach.
“She cannot get along with Adam to save her life!” added the insider.
