Corey Lewandowski has a different kind of loyalty when it comes to Kristi Noem. The former South Dakota governor and DHS secretary got fired by Donald Trump via a Truth Social post. Soon, her husband Bryon’s crossdressing photos were revealed by the Daily Mail.
Still, Lewandowski is reportedly standing by her, according to the New York Post, via TMZ.
For context, Bryon reportedly takes part in an online fetish world called “bimbofication.” He shares photos of himself dressed in pink spandex shorts with silicone breasts, looking like a human Barbie doll, as the Daily Mail described. Following that, Kristi said she was blindsided and devastated through a spokesperson. The couple, who share three adult children, are now estranged.

Meanwhile, a relative of Bryon’s told the New York Post that Bryon had decided around twenty years ago that it was his religious calling to support Kristi in whatever she chose to do. Apparently, he has been absorbing the humiliation ever since.
“We will see if he sticks with her now,” the family member said.
Another relative referred to Noem denying a personal relationship with Lewandowski during congressional questioning: “What gets me is she couldn’t say no.” Rep. Jared Moskowitz asked Noem what made Lewandowski “special” as a government employee. She called the inquiry “tabloid garbage,” accused the left of calling conservative women “stupid,” and declared she was not it.
Bryon left the briefing room before that exchange, as a photographer caught him side-eyeing his wife.
A Kristi Noem rep. says “family was blindsided” by revelations of Bryon’s cross dressing, and ask for “prayers” at this time.

As for Noem’s firing, Reuters reported that two anonymous Trump administration officials cited quite a few problems that led to it. First, there was the fatal shootings of two U.S. citizens by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis, then the $220 million advertising contract awarded to Republican operatives without standard bidding, mismanagement, and the affair allegations.
Trump, on the other hand, told Reuters he never approved the ad campaign featuring Noem on horseback at Mount Rushmore. The issue was that Noem told a Republican senator the opposite of that in the same week. Trump has since offered her the position of Special Envoy for the “Shield of the Americas,” which is being dubbed a Western Hemisphere security initiative.
Lewandowski lost his unpaid advisory post at DHS along with her. He was present in her cabinet operation from January 2025 to March 2026. The alleged affair between the two has been reported by multiple sources. Both have denied it.
