Kim Kardashian is totally supportive of her BFF, Jonathan Cheban, no matter what the reports may say. She took to Twitter to confirm that he’ll be part of the Celebrity Big Brother reality show on this coming Tuesday.
Kim Kardashian tweeted on Sunday, Jan. 3: “OMGGGG I can’t believe @JonathanCheban is doing celeb Big Brother UK. I’m dying to see this! He’s going to be hysterical!!!! (sic).”
Now fans have been wondering if the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will also enter the CBB house . She previously applied to appear on the Indian version of the show, Big Boss , back in 2014, but she pulled out of the reality competition at the very last minute.
“I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to come to India as planned. When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all the elements necessary to make it happen. Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been cancelled (sic).”
This news comes after it was rumored that the reality star slapped her 41-year-old friend with a gag order ahead of his appearance on the reality show. According to a report, via Radar Online , Kim was outraged over the news of Jonathan appearing on the reality show, and had threatened to ban him from KUWTK if he even mentioned her name.
“Kim is furious with Jonathan because he’s going to be on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and she’s afraid he’s going to spill all her secrets. She gave him an ultimatum, telling him that she didn’t want him to do the show and if he did, she would stop talking to him.”
The source added that the 35-year-old reality star has warned her friend to not talk about her on the show.
“Kim thinks that fame has gone to Jonathan’s head. She told him that she doesn’t want him to do the show and if she does she might not let him do KUWTK anymore.”
Apparently, this isn’t the first time that Kim Kardashian has had a meltdown over Jonathan Cheban talking about her or her famous sisters. As previously reported, via the Hollywood Gossip , Cheban has been accused by Kim, Kourtney, and other family members of feeding stories to the tabloids, which has played out in a previous episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons . Kim later apologized when she didn’t find any incriminating evidence on his phone.
But the source claims that Kardashian is worried that Cheban will only use her name as his stepping stone to gaining fame and notoriety.
“Kim is growing increasingly protective of her personal life and she is worried that all Jonathan is going to do is talk about her while he’s filming. She told him he had better not spend the whole time talking about her.”
Kim Kardashian isn’t the only one who’s been trying to talk Jonathan Cheban out of appearing on the show. Even her mom, Kris Jenner , is concerned that he will use his platform to share secrets about the famous family. According to The Mirror , the matriarch took time out of her busy plate to persuade Jonathan from appearing on Celebrity Big Brother , and Kim has actively helped her out, but their plan failed.
The so-called “momager” even promised Jonathan Cheban more appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians if he gave up the gig.
“Kim and her mum took Jonathan to one side and had a heartfelt chat, promising to make him a bigger character on their show with more prominent storylines. Jonathan is already in plenty of scenes, but they want to give him more of an incentive not to do CBB. They’re also worried about how he’ll be portrayed and how interactions with gobby British housemates will go down.”
Since she’s not following him into the Celebrity Big Brother house, Kim Kardashian will have to hold her breath and see if he does say anything about her.
