Khloe Kardashian may not be as confident in her still blooming romance with NBA star Tristan Thompson as she often appears to be.
Several media outlets are reporting the reality TV star is gravely concerned that Thompson may someday return to his longtime ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, who recently gave birth to the former couple’s first child, Prince Oliver Craig.
Sources report that when Craig recently went into labor in California, Kardashian chartered Thompson a private jet from Cleveland so that he would be there for the birth, but she made the arrangements in such a way to assure that he would spend as little time around Craig as possible and return to her as soon as the child was born.
“Tristan and Khloe spent the evening at her Calabasas house,” said a source, adding that Thompson waited until the absolute last minute before arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to witness the birth. “Khloé booked another private jet to bring them back to Cleveland the very same day. ”
A source later claimed that “everywhere he goes, she goes.”
It’s been previously reported that the 32-year-old Kardashian recently secured a home in Cleveland so that she could be closer to her much younger beau.
It’s not clear if LeBron James’ 25-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers teammate actually lives with Kardashian when she is in town. News of Kardashian’s part-time residence came courtesy of momager Kris Jenner, who revealed that her daughter made the move sometime just before Christmas.
Kardashian has also been a presence at several Cavaliers games this season, so much so that at one point several media outlets reported Thompson and James were butting heads about her being around the team so much.
Through all the intrigue and mystery, Kardashian is leaving little question about her true feelings. She recently took to social media to share that she’s the “ happiest ” she’s been in years.
“It’s such a great feeling that I have my happy back,” she added. “It’s from a genuine place and the most peaceful place I’ve been in for longer than I can even remember. I think maintaining this peace and happiness is my biggest goal for the new year.”
Kardashian was previously married to now-retired NBA star Lamar Odom and has had similar high-profile relationships with fellow NBA star James Harden, rapper French Montana, and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.
She and Odom recently split for good, with their divorce once and for all becoming final after she helped nurse him back to health following a near-fatal drug overdose he suffered at a Las Vegas brothel.
For a while, there was talk she and Odom might give their long-troubled relationship another try before things fizzled again and Thompson stepped in.
“I think when you’re in love you definitely feel happy and healthy too,” Kardashian added. “I like that my relationship is very normal and doesn’t need to be so publicized all the time. People aren’t wrong for putting all of their personal business out there, but I’ve learned from my mistakes and don’t need to do that anymore.”
While they were still an item, Kardashian and Odom often appeared on the family’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show and later had their own spinoff show on cable TV, where much of their entire relationship played out before the TV cameras.
“I think being able to share my life in a way, while still keeping so many great memories for myself, is a sign of maturity and evolution,” Kardashian added. “So, going into 2017, I wish you all a happy, peaceful year and hope that you live your life the way you want to.”
