Ken Blumenfeld wasn’t impressed with Kim Richards’ recent interview with Dr. Phil. Earlier this week, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who dated Ken Blumenfeld during the show’s third season, opened up about her recent relapse and arrest. Unfortunately, her ex-boyfriend doesn’t seem to believe she told the full story.
In an interview with Radar Online on April 29, Ken Blumenfeld revealed his thoughts .
“No matter what she says on Dr. Phil, she can make you believe anything and anybody will believe what she says. She’s the best actress I ever met …”
According to Ken Blumenfeld, he never forgot how Richards allegedly threw him under the bus years ago, as she struggled with addiction to alcohol while filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
“I’ve never seen anything like it, when I realized it was acting, and not the truth.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ken Blumenfeld surfaced shortly after Richards’ arrest on April 16, telling Radar Online he believed her highly critical family was responsible for her relapse . Last week, Ken Blumenfeld revealed the following :
“I think her family is a huge portion of all her problems. It’s overwhelming and horrific to be around—the out of control criticism.”
Ken Blumenfeld, who was arrested in 2009 for DUI, was a concern for Richards’ family, and they made that known on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
“The things they did to me … they are the kind of people it’s judgment of every little single thing. It’s the worst possible scenario [for Kim]. I [hope] she moves forward, but I doubt it with all the problems with her family that are imposed on her.”
Ken Blumenfeld’s relationship with Richards ended years ago, and he is now seeing someone else. However, he revealed to Radar Online that he and Richards were in contact just months ago.
Currently, Richards is in rehab somewhere in Los Angeles, where she is reportedly getting treatment for alcohol dependency. This is Richards’ second trip to rehab in recent years. As fans will recall, Richards was called out for being an alcoholic during an early season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . After the series wrapped filming, Richards entered rehab and had been sober in the years since, up until her relapse, which she claimed took place a few months ago.
Ken Blumenfeld’s ex-girlfriend has not yet revealed how long she will be in treatment.
