Katy Perry, pop singer extraordinaire, definitely changed things up this Halloween when she decided to dress up as a giant Flamin’ Hot Cheeto.
While the rest of the world is busy getting worked up about the sexiness associated with most female Halloween costumes, Perry decided to take a decidedly different approach to the holiday. Instead of dressing up as a sexy Ebola nurse or rocking something that clearly displayed her God-given assets, Katy went for something altogether different.
According to the folks over at Cambio , Katy Perry completed her Cheeto costume with a matching handbag. The website reports that Perry used the spicy snack food as a tasty crutch following her divorce from controversial comedian Russell Brand.
“There were two weeks of my life after I found out the truth of my marriage, where I was like ‘Okay, all right. I can’t feel this.’ I was, like, just eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and drinking, and that’s it.”
MTV News points out that Perry also snacked on Cheetos in the music video for her song “Dark Horse.” We’re sure that has something to do with witchcraft and the Illuminati, but we’ll let the conspiracy theorists tackle that stuff.

Not surprisingly, a few folks have taken pictures of Katy Perry in her Flamin’ Hot Cheetos costume and Photoshopped her into various snack-oriented scenarios. Apparently people had a lot of time on their hands over the past couple of days.
