Justin Bieber is sizzling his way into summer. Travel back about 12 months, when Bieber turned Jack Ü’s single “Where Are Ü Now” into radio domination. It’s time for a “yes he did it again” triumph, because the 22-year-old singer reportedly features on an unreleased remix of Drake’s number one song “ One Dance ,” according to MTV News .
The excited speculation grew when video clips from a Formula 1 party in Monaco attended by the Biebs showcased audio of him singing over the single’s beat.
In addition, Justin previewed his new single with Major Lazer, “Cold Water,” confirmed by Diplo.

As if to signal his segue into new buzz about his music, the Biebs is also switching up his style. Channeling his inner Hugh Hefner , the 22-year-old singer shared photos on Instagram that flaunted his striped Playboy shorts, pointed out the Daily Mail .
Justin began his Purpose Tour last March in Seattle. Now, on a welcome break, he recently relaxed by taking a trip to Monaco. Among the sights shared on social media, he turned heads with a glimpse of the landscape from his upscale hotel suite, tattooed back and shorts.
This isn’t the first time that the Biebs has shown a fondness for Playboy fashion. Last January, he was seen in Los Angeles wearing sweatpants emblazoned with Playboy bunnies. The pants were covered with decorations in the form of the Playboy bunny logo.
In addition to his passion for Playboy patterns, Justin has been wearing what Vogue terms “ hippie chic ” fashions. Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo gets credit for some of his outfits, while other fashions are attributed to CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists Baja East.
When Bieber was seen in Monaco giving congrats to his pal Lewis Hamilton after that spectacular win at the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the singer flaunted a style combining “lo-fi Baja aesthetic with a fashion-forward slant.”
The tie-dye tee may seem like a step back, but he’s not alone in going for that look. Kim Kardashian and Rihanna both have been spotted in similar retro fashions. Combining the tie-dye tee with his Fear of God’s shorts and Adidas NMD sneakers showed the Biebs belongs with the fashion-forward crowd.
Meanwhile, his off-again on-again (currently off-again) girlfriend Selena Gomez is getting all kinds of buzz herself playing a “ foul-mouthed manic pixie dream girl,” according to Mashable .
Starring with Paul Rudd in The Fundamentals of Caring , the 23-year-old singer plays a hitchhiker. Rudd’s role as Ben in the Netflix original movie showcases his depth in playing a caretaker (Ben) for a boy in a wheelchair (Trevor, portrayed by Craig Roberts).
Gomez’s character comes into the movie when Ben and Trevor are taking a road trip. Selena turns up the drama as a runaway with a foul mouth who smokes cigarettes but has a special charm that enhances their journey. Netflix will begin offering The Fundamentals of Caring on June 24.
As for how Gomez feels about her most recent split from Bieber? It’s been “nice and therapeutic ,” an insider told Hollywood Life .
“Selena is busy and enjoying being on tour, she loves not having to miss Justin, she loves not having to be bored and text Justin to pass the time. She loves that she doesn’t have to keep tabs on him because she would always watch out for what he was doing while she was not working.”
In addition, the affection that she gets from her fans has kept her motivated to keep going. As a result, the combination of love from her fans and peace from avoiding any “Jelena” (Justin + Selena) complications has provided her with a welcome respite.
“It has been a pretty nice and therapeutic [break],” summed up the insider.
