Joy-Anna Duggar wedding rumors were in full swing this weekend after a fan page on Facebook claimed that the reality star and her beau, Austin Forsyth, tied the knot. The two are engaged and are set to wed this fall, but fans wondered if the wedding date was just a decoy. Many people have long believed that Joy-Anna and Austin would get married much sooner than October, perhaps to increase privacy and keep the curious public at bay.
While the Duggar family hasn’t made any sort of announcement about Joy-Anna getting married, something else fairly major happened that is exciting for the husband-and-wife-to-be. According to OK! Magazine , Duggar and Forsyth obtained their marriage license this weekend .
“In a newspaper clipping, shared by ‘Duggar Family News: Life is not all pickles and hairspray’ Facebook page, you can see 19-year-old Joy and 23-year-old Austin’s names circled, confirming that they have been issued their marriage license,” reports OK! Magazine .
The Duggar family hasn’t said too much about Joy-Anna’s upcoming nuptials, but she absolutely is engaged and has been busy planning her wedding. It doesn’t appear as though she and Austin married this past weekend, despite the rumors to the contrary. It does seem as though the two are going about the motions, getting their marriage license, and doing whatever they need to do to prepare for their upcoming wedding. It is a very exciting time for them both.

Earlier this month, the Inquisitr reported that Joy-Anna Duggar appeared to have lost some weight ahead of her big day.
In 2014, People Magazine reported that Michelle Duggar revealed a struggle that she struggled with bulimia when she was younger. The family’s book, Growing Up Duggar , detailed a bit of that struggle.
“On the outside, Marie had what everyone else wanted, but on the inside, she felt sad and empty. She began to envy the girl who tried to control her weight through what turned out to be a destructive eating disorder. Not realizing how dangerous it was, Marie thought it might work for her, and soon her obsession to stay thin started controlling her life,” read an excerpt written by sisters Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger.
Some details of Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding may be revealed on upcoming episodes of Counting On on TLC. It is unknown how much of the planning was filmed for the show, but fans are expected to see some things. Fans are also hoping to see some wedding footage in upcoming episodes, although they have a long way to go before any of that would air.
