Rumours have started to circulate that a sex tape featuring Jennifer Lopez and her first husband is currently circulating and could be sold.
In Touch magazine, via The Mirror , alleged that the singer recorded this tape with Ojani Noa during their honeymoon. It’s also been reported that the singer and actress have been in a private court battle for six years trying to stop it from being seen by the public.
However, Ed Meyer, who is Noa’s business partner, has now insisted that he is planning on releasing the film. Meyer revealed that fans of Jennifer Lopez will be shocked as “the videos contain salacious material,” while he also added that he has “unfinished business” with her too.
The publication added that the master tape of this footage has been imprisoned inside a central depository for quite some time, at the behest of the court.
Ed Meyer believes that he has come across a legal loophole that will allow him to release these tapes to the public. This came about after Jennifer Lopez decided to withdraw her claims against the sex tape as the case was in arbitration.
Meyer has since gone on the record insisting that the plan is now to release the DVD of the sex tape to the general public, while he also explained that they have some home video footage of Jennifer Lopez in explicit situations too.
Meyer explained, “We are going to produce a DVD and also have a streaming release of the J.Lo home video footage. There is revealing video of her with a lack of clothing and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel footage from her honeymoon.”
This isn’t the first time that news on this sex tape has been reported. Back in 2013, E! News , via Latino Fox News , spoke to Meyer, who revealed that they’d not accepted Jennifer Lopez’s offer of a settlement. Meyer and Noa were asking for $3.75 million.
At the time, it was also reported by TMZ that the sex tape itself doesn’t actually feature any sexual acts. Instead it features “spanking and some booty” and sees Lopez in revealing clothes and some compromising situations.
Jennifer Lopez and Ojani Noa, who at the time was a Cuban waiter, got married on February 22, 1997. They ultimately separated and then divorced just 11 months into their marriage.
However, since then, Lopez has faced repeated legal problems with Noa. Back in April 2006 she tried to sue him in order to stop the publication of a book about their time together as man and wife. She insisted that this violated their confidentiality agreements.
Then, in 2007, an arbitrator that had been appointed by the court issued a permanent injunction against Noa stopping him from “criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging” Jennifer Lopez.
