The Google Mini application for businesses is getting a major upgrade.
Google just announced the addition of four new features to the Mini:
- The ability to crawl and utilize shared servers.
- The ability to rank items within an intranet to give them higher or lower search weight.
- The ability to automatically detect the newer version of two similar documents and show it higher in a search.
- Added support for six new languages: Basque, Catalan, Galician, Greek, Hungarian, and Polish.
Google Mini gives businesses the Google search technology for their own internal and web-based data. It starts at just under $3,000 for the smallest version, though that seemingly steep price tag does include all hardware and software as well as two years of support.
