Cindy Santamaria-Williams had gone to the movie theater with her sister-in-law to catch Furious 7 , but left with more than a bad experience. The Pennsylvania movie-goer had allegedly attempted to shush a couple of teens because they were talking too loudly and cursing during the film.

The film was being screened on Easter Sunday when the alleged attack happened, and the teens apparently waited until after they all left the theater to exact their revenge.

As the film was playing, Santamaria-Williams and her sister-in-law discovered that their problem with the movie wasn’t the plot or acting. It was the three teen girls sitting behind them who allegedly kept talking and cursing throughout, which brought her ire. After she allegedly turned and told them to be quiet, WNEP says the teens started harassing both of them.

After the movie was over, Cindy Santamaria-Williams also went to the theater management and reported the teens who disturbed her viewing of Furious 7 .

Upon leaving the theater, Santamaria-Williams wasn’t expecting the teens to take their revenge on her and her sister-in-law. Three more girls and two boys had been allegedly waiting for the two outside the food court and jumped them. She told authorities that one of them said, “When one swings, we all swing,” before attacking both of them.

“They immediately jumped on me and knocked me to the ground, punched me in the face.”

After the attack, the teens allegedly fled the scene.

Santamaria-Williams suffered a broken eye socket from the attack, and the police have been notified. Authorities are looking through surveillance videos from the movie theater and so far have only managed to identify two of them.

No arrests have been made yet.

Cindy Santamaria-Williams claims she saw someone recording the whole incident with a smartphone and has asked this person to step forward with the video, according to New York Daily News .

Stroud Area Regional Police Chief William Parrish says the police are looking into the Furious 7 beating, which he says concerns him greatly.

“When you go to the movies, you don’t need to be at risk to have your family endangered and we’re talking about even Easter Sunday, you know, to come out and be engaged in this.

“We are trying to identify this group of teenagers. We’re looking at video from the mall and we do have some descriptions of some of the females.”

The investigation is ongoing for the teens who allegedly attacked Cindy Santamaria-Williams and her sister-in-law at the Furious 7 screening at the Stroud Mall.
