Michael Boschetto, 32, was allegedly k—-d by his childhood friend, Giacomo Frisco, 34. He was stabbed four times, and following his gruesome murder, the cops were initially unable to unlock Boschetto’s phone.

Finally, after a year since his death, his father was able to crack the passcode, but little did he know he was in for a shocking surprise.

In a twist of events, the alleged killer left sufficient evidence of his crime on the victim’s phone. After the incident that took place last April in Villafranca Padovana, Northeast Italy, Michael’s father, Federico, was handed back his phone. Later, with his son’s girlfriend’s help, he was able to unlock the device.

“My son’s smartphone, which had been seized from Friso, was only returned to me after many months, with the explanation that they couldn’t extract any data from it. Later, his girlfriend helped me unlock it – but I saw her go pale. When she turned the phone towards me, I understood why,” said the grieving father, as per Daily Mail.

He then went on to reveal the unsettling clip he came across on his son’s phone. “On Michael’s phone, there was a video of Friso filming himself as he walked into his house, dancing and making a victory sign. The face of that man, who had just been arrested for my son’s death, was on his phone, wearing a mocking smile.”

He added, “Those 30 seconds showed Giacomo Friso almost pleased with having killed my son, making a gesture that seemed to say, ‘I did it, I killed him.'”

If this new revelation is taken into evidence, it could change the whole trial. Frisco previously claimed that he stabbed Michael as an act of self-defense. However, Federico insisted, “During the video, there were details that didn’t match the story I’d been told.”

“According to him, he’d just fought with my son and had been beaten too – but he didn’t even have a scratch on his face.”

According to various reports, Boschetto and Frisco lived on the same street, and they had been well acquainted since childhood. However, in the days leading up to the attack, Frisco was allegedly seen wandering the streets with a knife. His erratic behavior sure raised eyebrows in the neighborhood.

Local media reported that around 4:30 am on the night of the incident, Frisco came to meet Michael at his home. But when the door was opened, the two reportedly got into an argument, leading to Frisco storming out of there. Later, he returned to the scene around 6 am with a knife.

According to reports, the 32-year-old victim was waiting outside for his girlfriend, but when she arrived, she found his lifeless body with several stab wounds across his face and chest.

Although Giacomo is the primary suspect, the police are still scratching their heads to find his motive. The trial is now set to take place on September 11.
