Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are living proof that even glamorous celebrity couples can have epic parental fails sometimes especially during the stressful holiday season. Kunis, who stars in the upcoming comedy film A Bad Moms Christmas , reveals of one incident last Christmas where she and Kutcher might have tried a little too hard to give the perfect Christmas memory to their child.
Central to everyone’s theme of a perfect Christmas is the portly Santa Claus visiting the house at night probably through the chimney and dropping some gifts in exchange for a cookie or two. Of course, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher wanted to give their 2-year-old daughter the perfect experience and decided to recreate the scene. Mila told USA Today that they were somehow pressuring themselves to make it magical for their child.
“For both of us, the idea of making Christmas morning magical is an odd pressure we put on ourselves. We did it for our two-year-old who did not give a (expletive), let me tell you, whatsoevever.”
Of course, the plan backfired big time. In fact, their daughter’s reaction to the whole set up would have been a perfect A Bad Moms Christmas scene. According to Kunis, her daughter’s rejection of the idea that Santa could be breaking and entering their house was immediate and harsh, making it clear that she thought there is nothing magical about a being a sneaky gift-giver.
“The idea of saying that there’s a chunky man that comes through the fireplace, a stranger appears in our house and drops off some gifts and then eats some of your cookies. She was like screaming. There’s nothing magical about it. It was like, ‘Why was there Santa in my house?’ So that was a fail.”
And there was the mess Mila and Ashton Kutcher had to deal with later. No, it was not their daughter’s making but was part of the preparation to achieve that Santa footprints effect, which failed to have any effect on the child by the way. As Mila got down and dirty scrubbing all those flour from their living room, she couldn’t help but think it was all one big disaster. It’s probably safe to say that she’s learned her lesson and won’t be overdoing it this coming Christmas, especially now that they have two kids.

A sequel to the hit 2016 comedy Bad Moms , it is proof that despite the struggles that all moms go through during that stressful time of the year, fun is always just around the corner.
