One Florida woman apparently had way to much to drink when she was out celebrating her 52nd birthday with friends. If her celebratory actions are any indication of her intoxication level, she definitely had more than enough.

According to the Daily Mail , Patricia Tavernier, a Florida physical therapist, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a person over the age of 65 on Friday, May 23. She allegedly dumped her 73-year-old mother, Karen Judge, from a wheelchair onto a curb outside of a restaurant. The elderly woman fell “head first into the cement,” according to police documents. Tavernier’s sister, Theresa Booth, also witnessed the entire incident. Booth claims her sister’s actions were reportedly fueled by a drunken rage, as she blamed her mother for many of the obstacles she’d experienced throughout her life.

“For 52 years of s–t,” she allegedly said, according to the arrest affidavit.

Booth explained that her sister had become “drunk and upset” as the night progressed. She also specified that she witnessed first-hand what her sister’s actions did to their mother, and that her actions were intentional.

But, that’s not all. Tavernier was also charged with misdemeanor battery for hitting her sister in the face with a camera. According to the police report, the incident occurred at the Ruby Street Grille that Friday evening. A Tavares Police Department happened to be arriving at the restaurant while the altercation was under way. The officer noticed the empty wheelchair and an older woman on the ground laying in a fetal position. Judge had been in the care of her daughter, recovering from a broken hip.

Tavernier was arrested and booked into the Lake County jail. On Saturday, May 24, she was released on a $20,500 bond. She is scheduled to go back to court for an arraignment on Monday, June 16. Details about the woman’s injuries have not been released, as of yet.

What do you think her punishment should be for the way she treated her mother?
