The maternity ward room was crowded as the whole family gathered to welcome the child into the world. Both the new mommy and her relatives will share their thoughts on the newest addition to the reality show clan during the season finale on Monday evening.
According to sister Khloe’s statement after Penelope Scotland arrived, Kourtney “just loves to pull out her own children.” Before the little bundle of joy arrived, Kourtney was the guest of honor at a lavish baby shower which included pink candy floss and flamingos by the pool, according to E!
Grandma Kris Jenner had this to say about the birth:
“Watching my daughter give birth, it reminds me, it doesn’t get better than this.”
Kim Kardashian’s significant other, Kanye West also joined in the baby shower fun. During the season finale, the reality show star will discuss her gratefulness for her close family and the blossoming relationship she has with West.
Khloe, who had earlier voiced her disapproval of Kim’s relationship with Kris Humphries, had a private chat with the rap star during the baby shower for Penelope. She reportedly told the singer that she is glad the the couple is “finally doing their thing” and also noted that she believes the new match is one of her big sister’s healthiest relationships, according to the Daily Mail .
Frustrated with her inability to conceive after a year of trying with husband Lamar Odom, Khloe tells her family that she may need to take injections or medication to help her body ovulate.
