Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their engagement again. That’s the claim being made by OK! Magazine in a recent article.
But Gossip Cop is on the case and they are saying that the story is nothing but “fake news.”
As Gossip Cop reports, an alleged insider told OK! that Miley and Liam were through with their relationship because they have been “fighting for months.”
“When they got back together, Liam thought that things would be different but Miley hasn’t changed at all,” the source said. The “insider” added that Miley had sobered up but that it hadn’t improved her relationship with Liam at all. They went on to claim that Cyrus is still too “immature” for Hemsworth and that they’ve gone to some ineffective couples therapy sessions.
But the article is pretty sparse on the details, Gossip Cop notes. They don’t mention what the couple could have been fighting for months about or the reason why they decided to break off their engagement. OK! has previously reported that Miley was pregnant with Liam’s baby and that the young couple was trying to have twins. But Gossip Cop debunked both stories, proving that the tabloid doesn’t have a good track record for publishing credible stories about Miley and Liam.
The couple is actually “happy” according to one of Gossip Cop ‘s sources and doesn’t show any signs of breaking up in the near future.

In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Miley spoke about their relationship and shared a crazy story about how Liam couldn’t “get away” from her, even though they were broken up at the time. When they separated Liam tried to buy a house only to later find out that she had recorded her first album in it, Billboard reports. The owner hid all of Miley’s plaques so that Hemsworth wouldn’t be discouraged from making the purchase. When he moved in, he found out that his then ex-girlfriend had once lived in it.
According to Billboard, the couple now live together and “Malibu,” a song on her new album, is about him and their relationship. In the lyrics, Miley relates that she would never have believed she’d be singing this song a couple years ago, hinting that she didn’t think that she and Liam would be back together and engaged after their last breakup.
