Verizon Wireless today officially announced the release of the Motorola Droid, the companies next Google Android phone which will officially launch in March 2010.

The Devour will be the first Verizon phone to feature Motoblur technology, while also offering a 3.1 inch touchscreen, with a touch-sensitive navigation pad, a full sized sliding qwerty keyboard with nicely spaced out keys, a pre-installed 8GB microSD card and Bluetooth support with A2DP capabilities.

No word on pricing at this time and we’re not sure if it will feature multi-touch abilities since no mention of that technology was given. [ Verizon Wireless ]
