Celebrity mothers may show off their seemingly perfect lives on Instagram, but it doesn’t mean that their lives are perfect in reality, according to the Daily Mail .
In fact, many women who get inspired by Instagram photos of celebrity mothers that portray a seemingly perfect motherhood often ask themselves why is it so different in reality? And the answer is because almost everything posted by celebrities on Instagram is dressed up and embellished.
And pictures portraying their parenthood is no exception. But Celeste Barber, an Australian comedian, made fun of celebrity mothers making their motherhood days look as if they’re living in a glamorous dream.
Barber created her own Instagram account , where she recreates Instagram posts from such celebrity mothers as Kim Kardashian, Coco Austin, and Jennifer Lopez. And in Barber’s photos, it can be seen that motherhood is not as perfect and easy as it seems.
And to prove to the world that mothers are sexy and desired, Kim Kardashian, who delivered her son Saint seven months ago, starred in Fergie’s hit music video titled, “Milf,” which stands for “Mother I’d Like to F***.”
And one of Barber’s celebrity mother shaming images was recreated one of the scenes from “Milf,” where Kardashian is covered in milk while wearing a sexy latex top. In that hilarious photo, Barber doesn’t look nearly as sexy as Kim, but she assured in the caption that her husband “knows how lucky he is.”
“Something makes me think Kim’s milk was warmed. And yes, my #hothusband knows how lucky he is.”
Celebrity mothers also make it look as if they look flawless even when putting their babies to sleep and giving them a bath. One such celebrity is Coco Austin, who recently shared a selfie in which she is seen holding her newborn daughter on her shoulder while her makeup and hair is absolutely perfect.
And Barber couldn’t miss the opportunity to make fun of Austin, so she cradled her kid on her shoulder and posed with a waist trainer, messy hair and no makeup, the things most mothers would opt for when spending time alone with their babies at home.
But celebrity mothers, for some reason, think it’s something to be ashamed of if they present their everyday life during parenthood in a true light.
In the caption, Barber wrote that waist trainers “are the least of your problems” during motherhood. Jennifer Lopez also deserves a great deal of criticism for her photo, in which her son is seen massaging her head.
But Barber, who already has more than one million followers on Instagram, recreated the photo and wrote in the caption that her son helps her focus before doing “the washing.”
But it’s probably Holly Willoughby who idealizes parenthood the most compared to other celebrity mothers, according to the Independent . Just recently, the 35-year-old TV presenter admitted she “ loves giving birth ,” and everyone went crazy.
While promoting her new Truly Happy Baby – It Worked for Me tome, Willoughby called her newest son “perfect,” adding that she has never felt “more alive” than after she gives birth.
“And I don’t know what else compares to that. I love giving birth. I love being pregnant and I love having babies.”
Those who make fun of celebrity mothers for their idealistic view on motherhood have criticized Willoughby ever since, saying that while motherhood is a one-of-a-kind experience, the very moment of giving birth is no fun at all, and that it is unfair to place unreal expectations in the minds of first-time mothers who think that labor and childbirth are going to be a breeze.
