Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have reportedly called off their October 2017 wedding but according to an inside source, the Teen Mom OG couple is still living together.
Following allegations of cheating and an allegedly failed lie detector test, Amber Portwood was said to have put her wedding to Matt Baier on hold. However, when it comes to their relationship, they are reportedly still dating.
“[Amber Portwood] has not made any final decisions just yet,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online on May 19.
“The relationship is still chugging along for now.”
The insider went on to note that Amber Portwood and Matt Baier, who began dating years ago after the reality star served a 17-month prison term for a probation violation, are “still living together” in Indiana.
According to Radar Online , Amber Portwood was saying their relationship was over after Baier reportedly failed a lie detector test in regard to his potential cheating but another source claimed they could easily get back together, which they allegedly did.
“They’ve gone through lots of ups and downs,” an insider said.
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier were previously planning to get married on October 13, 2017, and as fans saw during a recent episode of Teen Mom OG , they nearly eloped in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Shortly after fans met Matt Baier on Teen Mom OG , he was confronted about his alleged lies regarding the number of children he had previously fathered. While Baier admitted to having two children, Portwood’s ex-fiance, Gary Shirley, later brought it to her attention that Baier had fathered at least two more. Around the same time, Radar Online reported Baier had a whopping nine secret children with seven different women.
The outlet also revealed Baier had hit on Teen Mom OG ‘s Farrah Abraham before ultimately approaching Amber Portwood on Twitter.
Following the many reports regarding the ups and downs of her relationship, Amber Portwood took to Twitter where she responded to a fan who suggested she was still with Baier because she was afraid of being alone.
“Listen I’m not scared to be alone,” Amber Portwood responded .
“I think people are forgetting all my struggles. I’m not just some little naive girl…”
Amber Portwood was dealt a five-year prison sentence in 2012 after purposefully failing to complete a drug rehabilitation program. However, the reality star and mother to 8-year-old Leah Shirley was ultimately granted an early release in November 2013 after serving just 17 months behind bars.

After rumors of his potentially failed lie detector test hit the web earlier this month, Matt Baier spoke to The Dirty about the status of his relationship with Amber Portwood.
“We are not broken up. There have been very sick, lonely people for the last three years trying to destroy us, and that’s going to take its toll on any relationship,” he explained to the outlet on May 12.
“I absolutely did take a lie detector test to once and for all prove to everybody I’ve never been unfaithful to [Amber Portwood]. Yes, this stuff takes its toll on people.”
Matt Baier went on to assure fans that he and Amber Portwood hadn’t broken up and said they would get through their recent hardships like they always have.
