Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer is a bit late to the table, finally confessing what we’ve always known about the troubled starlet: She’s a little out of control .
One of her lawyers recently told TMZ that she can’t get in touch with Lohan, can’t get her to attend a deposition in a pending lawsuit, and is somewhat distancing herself from LiLo so that she isn’t blamed for the Freaky Friday actress’s flaky behavior.
The lawsuit: Photographer Grigor Balyan recently filed against Lohan, claiming that she’s been too busy partying to attend deposition regarding his open lawsuit against her. Balyan says that Lohan’s assistant drove into him while leaving a Hollywood nightclub in 2010 and that Lindsay was in the passenger seat, reports The Examiner .
Attorney Julia Azrael (sidenote: Best lawyer name ever) represents Lohan and has officially gone on the record (by filing her own docs) saying that she shouldn’t be held responsible for Lohan’s poor behavior .
“I have made many efforts to convince Lohan to appear for her deposition. I do not know how to reach her directly,” Azrael wrote.
Azrael also says that she has to go through Lohan’s other lawyer, Mark Heller, to establish communication with LiLo. Azrael also suspects that Heller has been “stringing her along.”
Balyan doesn’t care. He’s asking for the judge to fine both Lohan and Azrael for not giving him his day in court.
