A Cablevision employee has been caught telling a customer how to access illegal online streams of Fox shows, following the removal of Fox content from the Cablevision cable network.

A Fox employee, who is also a Cablevision subscriber, recorded the conversation, where the employee also claims that “Cablevision has an internal team trolling the Internet for similar ways people can watch Fox for free” according to the NY Daily News.

Cablevision’s 3.5 million subscribers in the New York area have been without Channels 5 and 9, and Fox Sports for around one week, just as the World Series is about to air.

Fox has sent a cease and desist, while Cablevision continues to claim that Fox programing should be returned to its network prior to mediation.
