It looks like WWE may be handing out another cease and desist letter soon. Recently, the bold moves of Bullet Club members the Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll, and Adam Page – during an episode of “Being the Elite” – of “invading” Raw (in actuality, it was simply making noise and controversy at a nearby mall, which was pre-planned for the episode), caused Vince McMahon and the WWE executives to be unhappy of the gestures that were used as they felt were an infringement on what they possess. Namely, the “two sweet” sign, which elicited WWE to issue a cease and desist letter.

Staying true to their witty nature, Nick and Matt Jackson almost immediately launched Cease and Desist t-shirts following the issued letter, which censored the “two sweet” sign. The shirt was a major success, being the top seller on Pro Wrestling Tees in the month of September.

Recently, The New Day member Big E showed his awareness of the current legal situation by requesting WWE send out another cease and desist letter. After seeing a photo of Kellogg’s Unicorn Fruit Loops looking eerily similar to their brand designs and merchandise, Big E asked, “WWE, do you have any more cease and desists handy?”

Over the past couple of years, Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods of The New Day have created an incredibly strong brand to reach both children and adults. Although their initial run did not stick much with the audience, and their rebranding of being a more light-hearted stable was received with jeers at first, WWE remained loyal on keeping the trio together despite the hurdles presented by the WWE Universe. As a result, the chant of “New Day Rocks” has become one of the most popular cheers in all of professional wrestling.

Their popularity also earned the merit of being one of the biggest merchandise sellers in WWE, as well as their tagline of Booty O’s to become an actual cereal. The Unicorn Fruit Loops, which was released in September, is being marketed as a limited edition. However, due to the striking similarity of the Booty O’s brand, it may be off the shelves sooner than expected.
