Jennifer Lopez recently joined Taylor Swift on stage for the country singer’s Red Tour, and it looks like Swift is going to return the favor on J-Lo’s upcoming album.
T-Swift and J-Lo are reportedly planning to collaborate with each other on Lopez’ new album. An official announcement hasn’t been made yet but a source told US Weekly that they are both “huge fans of each other and excited to work together!”
The NY Daily News reports that the country singer and the pop diva have been toying with the idea of a collaboration for sometime now and they finally hashed out the details this week after a concert in Los Angeles.
After the show, Swift wrote on Twitter: “Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center… STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT.”
Lopez added: “@taylorswift13 had so much fun with you tonight!!! #RedTourLA #jennyfromtheblock #hairbrushsongs.”
Jennifer Lopez has been planning a November release for her new album but the singer may have to push that date back if she wants to record a song with Taylor Swift. Lopez is going to be busy with American Idol soon and Taylor Swift is still on tour for her album Red.
Hopefully the two singers can find some time to get to the studio together to record something special for the new album.
