Paul McCartney desperately wants the Gallagher brothers to work out their differences and reform Oasis. McCartney spoke in support of the now disbanded Manchester Britpop lineup and has offered his advice to Noel and Liam Gallagher.
Speaking during an online Q&A with his Japanese fans, Paul McCartney stated that they should “just get together and make some good music.”
“I don’t know if they will ever make up. It would be good because I think everyone likes brothers to like each other – and make up. It’s a pity because they are very good together. Like many brothers, they are crazy. But it would be nice if they got together.”
Paul McCartney’s chances of reuniting Oasis is as good as anyone else’s. In the past, Noel Gallagher has spoken about his fortunate friendship with McCartney and their first encounter at a house party for Stella McCartney in 1997.
The former Oasis songwriter said , “It was just me and him and I was thinking ‘you better not try and get off with me’. He’s a proper geezer, I love him.”
The pair has also worked together in the past.
Noel has been anything but complimentary to his brother Liam in the few weeks. Noel claims that his brother has been intentionally dishonest to Oasis fans.
“There was a rumor last week that we’ve had a gentleman’s agreement [to reform the band], but that rumor’s come from his people. It’s a ‘source close to him,’ and I’ll tell you how close it is: She probably wakes up with him every morning. It’s always left to me in an interview to let the kids down. People say, ‘You’re breaking these kids’ hearts.’ Well, what the ****, man?”

Like many fans, Paul McCartney’s hopes for an Oasis reunion seem hopeless as the Gallagher brothers continue their characteristic feuding.
Talks of the Oasis reunion died out as the Gallagher brothers took shots at each other again. Recently , it has been suggested that the original Oasis lineup may reform without their main songwriter Noel Gallagher.
