In Denmark it’s the 15th, in New York it’s barely and in Los Angeles they are still behind, but that doesn’t stop us (writers/bloggers/fanboys) from going crazy with iPhone Preorder-posts.
On TUAW a reader claims he has preordered an iPhone 4 already . Chris ordered it from Best Buy in Westchester County in New York. (Spellingnazis: please disregard the “Reserve Your’s Today”-text on the receipt. Best Buy sell electronics, not dictionaries.)
What’s more interesting, for Americans at least, is the kickback plan from Radio Shack. They are offering trade-ins for iPhone 3GS in good condition worth $200 regardsless of memory size.
Another rumor from MacLife: A reader reports that he called AT&T and asked when he could preorder an iPhone 4. The AT&T rep told him that they were accepting iPhone 4 preorders from 1 am PDT/4 am EDT . That sounds very logical to me, by then it’s the 15th no matter where you are in the US.
I guess I’ll just have to wait and see if someone finds a loophole in the Apple Store again that I can take advantage of.
UPDATE: The Apple Store is now down and being updated. Amazing. Only Apple can take down the entire online store to update it. No one else does that.
